That's a new Toledo F-16 callsign. They've been using it about a year or 2 now. If they only have 3 flights you'll hear STING, BUZZ, & BUCKI. When they have 4 flights that's when you'll hear ROCKT.

Welcome to MI Milair! 😃

Chuck
That makes much more sense than Wisconsin F16s flying the river. Thanks for the help.

The very rare fifth flight is GLASS. I haven’t seen that in quite a while though.

That is exactly who I was hearing. I have worked that GLASS call in the past as well, never knew, thought maybe a Looking Glass flight.
Thanks So Much
You’re welcome. Also, ROKIT is often used as the callsign for the single-ship incentive flights in the F-16D which occasionally happen (they typically come in bunches), even when they’re on days with no BUCKI flight.

311.000- ~14:00 EST- sounded like a flight services call, heard "India 3" in the last call. I have it listed as an EAM frequency and Quarterback ops for 127th Air Refueling out of Selfridge. Guessing it was Jeep81 calling Selfridge.

Yes that would be JEEP calling QUARTERBACK Ops. India 3 is a parking spot on the east ramp.
311.000 is also used by STEEL CONTROL at Pittsburgh.

The Wild Wednesday airshow at Willow Run is about a week away (June 8th) with the RCAF CF-18, CC-130, T-33 "Ace Maker" and a few more acts. I expect acts to roll in Monday and/or Tuesday. I've got a few frequencies that may be helpful.

Currently copying fairly frequent traffic on 336.4 (I have it tagged as "Misc Milair") 234.900 (Black Talon MOA) and 266.600 (Grayling Range) Some of it is nice strong copy from Kalamazoo County.

Between the cornfields and the pastures, Michigan.
Added those in, STING 248.65 is lighting up quite a bit for me as well.

To sum up how TOL A/A works lately: it's typically STING on 248.65, BUZZ on 312.175, BUCKI on 357.1, and ROKIT on 367.5 when there are four flights in a set. When they're just running two flights in a set, it's usually STING on 248.65 and BUZZ on 357.1. Three flights, typically STING on 248.65, BUZZ on 357.1, and BUCKI on 367.5. Whenever the D model is in a flight, they use 140.2, because that aircraft doesn't have dual UHF capability.
