Hello I am from Windsor Ontario and we get a lot of US military aircraft flying over, on their way to Selfridge, what i am wondering is if anyone can tell me how I can find out when an aircraft is departing before they are in the air, I have programed Selfridge into my scanner but there are so many channels I'm not sure which one does military aircraft departures. or if anyone has a website with this info would be awesome, if you wanna check out the Air Craft i catch check out my youtube page. this is an example.

The best way to find aircraft heading your way is adsbexchange.com it's mainly tankers, cargo, & transport aircraft. The fighter aircraft & bombers are rarely tracked.
As far as frequencies.
120.150 MTC tower. BTN 03.
119.600 MTC approach & departure. You'll hear civilian & military traffic on both of these freqs.
134.300 DTW app / dep, east. 132.250 Cleve.C.
Fighter aircraft tend to use the UHF freqs.
225.400 MTC tower. BTN 03. The A-10's actually use the VHF tower freq now 120.150.
391.900 MTC departure. BTN 04.
318.200 MTC approach. BTN 05.
290.425 Cleve.C. BTN 06.
234.900 BLACK TALON, BTN 07.

I like to keep the VHF & UHF in separate banks.

I heard them this morning also. They set up a refueling track north of Duluth. I couldn't get ADSB Exchange to work on my phone this morning. Flightradar24.com was working. I had to leave to go shopping & pick up some prescriptions for my mom. Almost didn't have enough money for them.


Toledo F-16's were in the PIKE MOA this morning.

Sorry for the confusion. My post should've been TIGER 2 reading a 9 line to HUNTRESS on the target. 228.900 is a HUNTRESS freq. The Coast Guard helos do this once in awhile. I don't know if they're actually talking to HUNTRESS. I wasn't able to hear HUNTRESS respond.
