Good job, @btt and @goldmyne99 for developing, testing and sharing updates with us! I’m personally very excited to get one of these when they are released for public consumption. You can’t beat the price and you can’t beat the support and the innovative mindset of the creator as well as the members of this BlueTail Technologies group. I don’t see too many companies making inroads in this specific market segment these days (a good example is Uniden), and this product is a breath of fresh air and to top it off we have the creator of the device soliciting our ideas and listening to our input to help make this a better product now and also down the road. I know you’ll get those bugs ironed out, the packaging finalized and this is going to be another fine product from BTT. Best of luck and looking forward to handing you my money! Lol

Thank you for all the comments / feedback! It has been a productive week, so I thought I would update on the status again. The issues with P2 have been resolved and it is sounding great. It is now possible to import talk groups from DSD-formatted files or P25RX talk group backup files (csv). A single operation will import talk groups from all auto-detected csv/dsd files contained on the SD card. Talk groups can be entered/disabled manually via the display. Still need to implement the backup/restore-entire-configuration and generate-summary-report options, as well as a few other global configuration options. Thank you again to @goldmyne99 for the help with testing! Much closer to production now!

Time for another update. There has been a lot more progress made this past week on the firmware. The firmware is in good shape. Need to add switchable operating modes for the button configurations, the "global summary report", and I would like to get a TG zone selection interface working before release. A user manual also needs to be written. The enclosure design was finalized by @goldmyne99 and I have ordered the first batch of enclosures. Getting very close now.

For those wondering about the field test MicroP25RX unit, it is performing very well in my area of SE Wisconsin.

Todd improves/adds to the firmware with a minimum of 2-5 firmware updates everyday!

I went for another 2 hour drive test today. The P25 simulcast audio continues to be outstanding during a mix of rural/suburban driving.
The MicroP25RX is a very nice radio that improves with each firmware update.

You only need a Wio Terminal.
The Wio Terminal plugs into the MicroP25RX adapter board that is part of the MicroP25RX unit.

Edit: Here is a picture of the MicroP25RX adapter board. The Wio Terminal plugs into these 40 pins.

Todd,
Can you give us an updated ESTIMATE of the selling price?
The pricing is $288 +shipping. For previous customers who purchased a P25RX or P25RX-II, the introductory price for the MicroP25RX will be $250 + shipping. It will NOT include the Wio Terminal, the USB cable, 3.5mm audio cable, or micro-SD card. It will include assembled and tested Wio-adapter+receiver pcbs. The enclosure will be sold separately. I will have more detailed information on the product pages.
