I reverted the code back to the 0101-06 state. Let me know if there are any audio issues in this release.
For anyone that might have missed the new thread.. The GUI interface for the MicroP25RX is called MicroP25RXMon. As of the latest releases, it supports reading and writing the entire configuration from the receiver as well as reading/writing the configuration information to a local file. The SD card is not required to read, write, update the configuration. The application also allows monitoring meta information and audio on the PC. Thanks to goldmyne99 for his contributions to the code and also for suggesting the Processing dev environment. There is a Windows 64-bit executable available. You need to upgrade to the latest firmware to use the application. There is a separate thread for the application here.Hey Todd,
Any plans to make a gui interface like the P25RXII so we can program, etc via windows pc?..
Did you ever find an answer for this? I am having the same issue. I think it may just be a bad WIO terminal.I am getting an SD Card Init Failed with whatever I try to do with 3 different uSD cards. Any ideas?
Make sure that you are installing the SD card in the RX25Micro card slot and NOT in the WIO slot.Did you ever find an answer for this? I am having the same issue. I think it may just be a bad WIO terminal.
The SD CARD should not be in the Wio Terminal SD CARD slot. The Wio Terminal should not cause an error with the SD CARD in the RX card slot.I think it may just be a bad WIO terminal.
Tried to upgrade the firmware to the latest version. Followed the directions very carefully, everything seemed to go good but when I tried to turn on the display all I had on the screen of the Wio was "BlueTail MicroP25RX"
Any ideas what went wrong??
Got it thanks!!
Thank you sir. Regarding the new design, I haven't been holding out. I had a new idea for a design very recently. Although I haven't tested it with real hardware yet, I've done simulations in firmware. I think it will bring the receivers into a completely different level of performance. Boards are on the way. I will report on the results soon.Too bad about the sales being down. These really are great receivers. People don't know what they're missing. I run my units 24/7.
I do look forward to your new design.
It could be. In the very beginning, I spent $300 on google ads and didn't sell a single receiver. I'll have to start thinking about alternatives.Have you marketed this product at all? Could the lack of sales just be the fact that only RR users of this forum know about it?

I received an email from someone that was concerned that I'm changing the hardware again. I want to remind everyone that the reason the the P25RX and P25RX-II are not available now is because of the inability to buy the parts right now. Another point that I should have mentioned is that the MicroP25RX-II will be 100% compatible with the MicroP25RX. The firmware and software will be the same.
