62-3547 must be the ETHYL-52. Signals starting to fade here as they head NE of Cape Cod.

Getting some more activity in AR020 341.750. Not sure if its related but I got c/s EVIL-2 contacting Boston Center a minute ago.

I've got 341.7 active right now in Northeastern Pennsylvania.11:37PM can't make out callsigns. Possibly EVO-01? First time hearing that frequency here. New homemade Dipole antenna indoors with a Uniden BCT15X scanner.

Ok hard to make out but c/s sounds like EVOKE-01 and EVOKE-02. Hard to make out as the pilots are talking through their oxygen mask. Time 0346z

What the heck??? Just got up out of my slumber for a drink at 5AM local 09000z and EVOKE-01 is calling OFFUTT on 11175USB requesting a radio check, almost 5hrs since I first heard them on 341.75.

Yep. EVOKE-01 is still on 11175kHz checking in about every 20/30mins sending three letter one number messages to Offutt like clock work. I'm also posting in the Utilities forum hoping somebody could help id the c/s.

Hey Look were they heading NE or SW? I wonder if I got them before or after you had them? I know they were reported received by a station in New Jersey and NY on the Milair spotters net. Nice recording BTW!

From what I gathered....it sounded like they went up AR-20NE to Cape Breton and turned around and came back down the same way.Very finicky with Moncton center to only use UHF freqs (usually a B-1B thing).
I suspect this was one of those 'Global Reach' exercises they do a couple times a year.
I'll update the recording later with a bit of them speaking with Boston Center confirming they would be returning to Barksdale. (I did have 11175 on at the time but had to turn it down so I didn't wake the wife.)
Thank goodness I still had my discone up as my new (DIY) antenna sucked! Otherwise I would have picked them up over Nantucket.
