Thanks Mark.
BTW...Weak A-A comms on 251.250. Sounds like Reach 1012 and 1011. May have even heard 1013. 1350Z Probably coming in from overseas.
Told to switch to Boston 124.250 but also mentioned 123.900 (Moncton Center).1359Z

N707KH/04-0688,05-0597,07-0777 are showing up that way

That very well may be them....Comms are getting stronger and they are expressing concerns about the crossing (tailwinds) . Mentioning CYYT and changing course direct VINSI (47.89N, 57.37W NFLD).
Great...as I'm typing they went overhead.

USAF rules state that pond hopping by USAF single engine prop types must be
accompanied by multi-prop type.In other words next leg from St Johns they'll have
a HC/MC-130 rescue type with them for crossing..maybe to Lajes?

Yeah I like those PC12 types. The USAF had a mess of them once but sold many of them off.
Sometimes you will see civy ones with tail reg ending in AF.
Had civ PC-12 buzz my house inbound local airport while back and sounds like P-51 Mustang
on steroids.. Really some serious sounding horsepower..Way cool.
Drawback is they are fuel guzzlers so prob why they ditched them.

I would have killed to have known that this morning. Not a minute of fighter A-A comms.
I have their patch from when I visited El Toro a few years back. Now at MCAS Miramar I believe.
That's a heck of a long trip for a West Coast squadron.
