Interesting one of the aircraft appears to be off freq? The others are fine. Also noted the use of 02 masks during their transmissions. Signals still strong here.

Getting some activity on Coronet B 388.40 with British accents. Time 1457UTC
Yep...all those Tornados took off earlier and are getting topped off before heading overseas. They even show on PlanePlotters as 'TOR'. Near Nantucket last time I looked. Not picking them up here (yet).

All alone. Odd.

Wait that was Reach 306. Didn't spy or hear anyone around em. They were at 29,000 feet though so I would have expected a receiver nearby.

Couple BLUE tankers going east overseas last two evenings.
Last night BLUE 63 0200z thru to Spain
Tonight BLUE 47 from 916ARW thru here 0035z at FL410 prob crossing.

Assume the VMFA-225 will be relieved by VMFA-314 we recently heard here, will
be coming rtb Stateside soon. They usually don't waste time getting back.. Maybe this weekend.

Ah ok thanks Mark. So can we assume that was the Black Knights (of Independence Day fame :D) we saw yesterday? I wasn't even certain they were Hornets from where I watched. They looked a bit north of the track so it was hard to make them out.

Awesome! And good about the F-35s too. Man that movie was realistic. Hahaha.

LOL.. Yes 20 mile diameter ship hovering over you and nobody evacuates till
last minute.. I don't think so.. :)

Seems they have been tweaking F-35 forever.. Saw flyby at Andrews airshow 2011 correction 3 years ago with Pax River F-18
chase plane.seems so long ago.. see if I can dig out that old photo.. Bad photo with lighting.. I was walking around with short lens and
all of a sudden they announced it and did 1 flyby quickly..
