Once more, what are the chances of every seeing this squadron over Nova Scotia again?
Great catch.
The Osprey is another one of those aircraft I have yet to see, let alone photograph.

Yeah glad I checked my phone eventually when the email came in. I would have missed them otherwise. Really cool to know those planes which are so far away now are the exact ones I saw. Different noise for sure with those V-22s

RCH963 Flight

Heard via LiveATC...Reach963 'Flight' in Boston's airspace.
On PlanePlotter as 79-0433, KC-10 (1st one!) outta Mcguire, AFB. FL250.
Unsure who he is draggin'...0420Z
Was apparently a training flight with RCH962 AKA 'TEAM42'(KC-10, 85-0030).
One continued on to CYYT. 0513Z

Seems the OTIS tankers came in at FL280 right down
the coast offshore to Cherry Point.
I don't think the Ospreys were with them at that speed and altitude.

Odd mode s log in UK today..
(AE117C) C-17 #$02-1110 62AW showing callsign CFC4015.
Maybe Canadian crew NATO C-17 mission on old McChord C-17?
This was also logged back on 3/3/14 near Ontario showing CFC4027

That is strange! I haven't logged this plane since 07/26/13, I would have liked to have seen that one on the display. Also please don't refer to things from as recent as 2002 as old :D

Pair of Hercs heading SW over Halifax now at 15,000. Just a few miles inland of the coast, using the AR-20 track as a reference they're well south. Only one is showing up but they're echelon right formation. Can't miss em

I hate to say this...I could not find RCH1001 (AC-130U) for the life of me. Never even heard the 'drone' of the engines. Absolute beautiful day for spotting.
Meanwhile...a C130 (PACKR31) is heading your way at FL210
