Aww shucks. That's a surprise, they left a massive contrail here.
And there you are...good overlap at FL200.I've signed up. Hopefully I'll appear soon. Thanks!
So looks like my Google Map (https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=zcgDx8DQ_SVU.kNCwVt6r1sRo) with the Sharers is now out-classed by this one - [http://pp-sharers.co.uk/]
You want to quickly search for a Share code?... Search | PlanePlotter SharersPlanePlotter Sharers
Then there is this gem... [Coverage | PlanePlotter SharersPlanePlotter Sharers
Slide over to the Maritimes and check out the coverage at various altitudes (choose on the bottom).
(I discovered these from a post on radarspotters.eu)
No problem, IanHeard and seen, thanks Mark..
KC10A-85-0030 is at FL280 in AR81 (SW tip of Nova Scotia) refueling BOMBER1 at 1050Z
Receiver is rumoured to be a B-52 headed to the UK for Global Power mission. If so...look for their return in about 12 hours.
Refuel ended for ALIA28 & ALIA59 by 1145Z. OPEC30 was headed home shortly afterwards direct Nantucket (bit low on their own fuel). I did go outside looking / listening...all I got was cold. Are they just circling Yarmouth? I keep getting them for a few mins then they disappear. They made it close enough to my station to be detected at one point but now seem to be back toward the SW/Yarmouth area. Is the tanker waiting for the BUFF or are they together orbiting, anyone know?
I saw that E-3 earlier. I just happened to hear what sounded like 'Nato' callsign (could be wrong) on the LiveATC feed...never saw anything on PlanePlotter. There was a NATO E-3 (LXN90445) overhead with 58-0107 at about 1:40 here. Could that be the NATO flight or would there be one behind the E-3?
