AR20 booked 1800-2200z.Had some CLEAN KC-10's move South yesterday
and a couple CLEAN KC-135's way down South this morning 1400z.

The Fists have taken off from Lajes this morning and at least one took a NW heading for some reason. 79-1712 is closing on Newfoundland from the SE now on PlaneFinder.

This should be the return of the HMX-1 MV-22s that went overseas while Obama was at the G7 Summit. I really hope they transit over CYQI. It's supposed to be nice weather tomorrow and last time they were below FL150...with a KC10!

Well...that didn't happen. They (KNIGHTHAWK72 Flight) are arriving at 1400Z off the East Coast direct from Lajes with FIST34 (84-0188)
And now there are two FIST(32/33) inbound from the North near Halifax at 1520Z One is at transit height, FL360.
FIST32 is at refuel height, FL100 1527Z approaching Halifax.

HMX-1 Returning home

My first time seeing an Osprey...better yet, four HMX-1, MV-22s with Tanker at FL100. Quite loud as they passed overhead. None of them were actually refueling as they passed by. The Tanker led the way and the 22s were in trail spaced about a 1/2 mile apart.

PEACH68 on AR20-NE

PEACH68 (99-0006, E8C) is inbound AR20-NE for refueling at 1948Z.
The tanker is MOTOWN2 (KC-135R, 59-1474) FL230-250.
Passed overhead CYQI at 2000Z heading to Halifax.
Lost him in the clouds and couldn't focus on him in time to get a picture.

Great photos!! I missed Motown, and didn't realize till after they'd passed that they showed in PlanePlotter. Assuming that's the auto MLAT thing, I hadn't seen that over us before.

Checking tape heard Motown 2 and Peach 68 on usual AR20 freq enroute estimating CT time.
Motown 2 says we are estimating 1950z
Peach 68 says est 1946z
Guess they compromised..LOL

Looks like it did Florida area and back yesterday.

Peach68 - AR20-SW

It looks like MAINE99 (59-1488, KC135R) is headed to Sydney to meet with PEACH68 (01-2005, E8-C) for refueling on AR20-SW. It's a beautiful day and hopefully they will be visible. 1940Z
At 2020Z...PEACH68 near PEI. I'm guessing he completed his refuel early (or he hasn't started yet).
