you guys up there to visit..Glad to see the big boys making the airshow circuits again..
I can only take so many US prop duster demos in the last few years..LOL

That is a great looking scheme this year! It's been many years since I attended a show at Westover AFB. A great lineup of acts this year...and free admission!

Man that does look awesome. Ohhhh a real static display. I was there snooping in 2013 for a New England trip and there are C-5s around town on sticks. Not sure if they're mailboxes or what but it was neat to see. My wife asked a couple questions about it when I started clapping at the idea of a REAL air show, be interesting if a surprise trip is stewing in her head. Hmmm. Also an OC-135 is on the page, be interesting to see one up close, especially since it would almost certainly be one I've seen in AR-20 before. Thanks for the link Mark, might have been a catalyst

Ah the planes are part of a fundraiser. Started in 2011 and you could sponsor em as part of money raising thing. They wanted a recognizable symbol associated with the town so they decided to use C-5s

It went fairly close to us here after (I think) taking off from Bangor) but didn't quite get to visible range. If nothing else I know my alerts work now so I'll get a heads up whenever it gets close.

Not refueling related...but....As per Flight Aware...we should have an AN-124 overhead soon (Yarmouth to Sydney). Usually they tend to fly up the Bay and bypass CYQI.

RAZOR03/04 ...Flight of two B-1B Bombers headed down track on AR20-SW refueling with TEAM86 (86-0032 ,KC-10A) and TEAM85 (85-0028, KC-10A ) 2200Z
The bombers gave two separate destinations (sorry, missed the identifiers).
Via Comms, PP and LiveATC (CYYT)

Update 2304Z Both Bombers ETA to (03) Ellsworth and (04)Dyess 0300Z

Well...lighting was bad, they went West of the track and they climbed to FL280...but at least it's proof they were here!
