If you want to give me those frequencies, I will see how well I can receive them and possibly add them to the high altitude feed.

Cheers,
Kevin

1905z CLEAN 83 KC-135 with Gander on ATC feed to join with Tabors
flight of 6.
I think CLEAN 81 KC-10 has cleared out for home.

I believe they did. I found some semi recent pics of the KC-135 that accompanied them before they overflew YHZ and it seems to be out of McConnell AFB, which explains the hard right they took as the F-15s carried on to KBGR.

CLEAN72 will return to Mildenhall at 30W and CLEAN71 will drag the rest of the way over

So these airplanes that I rarely see in the skies over Central Vermont that are re-fueling, are they always Air Force planes?

Both planes seem quite large to me. I've never been near a scanner to listen to any transmissions when I did see them so I can't verify for certain.

And.....if I do see these planes over Central Vermont here in New England and they are military, is this practice or are they on a "mission"?

Thanks,
Steve

Hi Kev, I take it as you were talking about your feed on LiveATC? This feed is no longer showing as active.

Looks like AR20-SW will be active shortly.
SPUR74 (KC-135R, 58-0021) told Boston he will be on AR20SW.
Will orbit Sydney VOR awaiting his receiver then headed to Halifax, NS then CYQI (Yarmouth).
Clear skies in Yarmouth...hope to see something interesting.

Here's a few shots my brother and I took. He's in a better location, similar to looknlisten's. I'm south of the AR track, mine is the first image

First rate shots Darryl!
I had to boost my ISO up because of the low-light.
FYI...Bomber A2A was 300.125.
They switched to Boston Centre on 269.300 at 2319Z

Thank you Howard. If I can just steal a few hundred more of my brother's photos maybe I can catch your number of epic shots ;).

He's not a forum member but I'll tell him you liked em.

DOOM Flight - AR20-SW

Sadly, the flight broke off just after Halifax.
This was the best I could do;
