Ron seems later on one of the T-38's in afternoon session broke sound barrier.
Folks in Southern Delaware heard boom.. There were 4 T-38's out there around 3:30PM course could have been F-22
not showing on ADSB that actually made the booms.
You beat me to asking this question. I had multiple people in ACY area thinking it was a COSMIC scramble that went supersonic. Guess the boom really shook the ground everywhere. I spent some time listening to LiveATC playback for KACY and didn't have any luck.

SJAFB is easy to watch. A public road dead ends at the back fence overlooking the runway and F15e hangers.
Is that Sheridan Forest? It's been a few years since I was in Goldsboro, but I remember a good spot where the road was wooded at the end, but signs had been placed that scared me off. Hopefully things are cooler now...

@RaleighGuy is correct.

This is my go to spot. Usually the guards will drive by within 10-15 minutes of you sitting there but never had any interaction other than a friendly wave.

While I have never had issues you can always call SJAFB 4th FW Security Force Office @ 919-722-0027 and let them know you will be on CS Lewis Dairy Rd spotting and doing photography, that way they let the perimeter security know who you are.

"Okay here's what we know about the loud booms everyone heard along the Delmarva at around 3:30 on Monday - Many said their homes shook and they heard a loud boom - We checked for earthquakes, for an emergency response and Wallops Island, and found nothing - There are currently two T-38 Talon fighter trainers out of Langley Air Force Base operating in the area. Chances are you heard a sonic boom."

Two of the ROMA tankers inbound seem to be coming thru Maine soon.
I'm out for a while so hopefully someone will pick them up here :)

The T-38s SCAR 01 and SCAR 02 were on 238.100 with Giantkiller and then 236.800 with Washington Center.

I was watching them in the test track area and they were both varying their speeds between 300-350 knots and then above 550 knots.

Most likely these were the ones that got everyone's attention.
