WAWA21 flt on ACY Ground taxiing to RWY13 for their second week of Night Ops. Ground asked if they knew if the COSMICs were still launching tonight, then asked if they'll be coming from the Guard ramp or the Alert Hangars. The Devils are making the most of this ideal weather, probably will have at least six jets up tonight.

WAWA flt is up with another cell. Sounds like ESCO/WESCO (?) -11 but not sure.

1940 - COSMIC01 launching

AE1179 02-1107 E21107,EVAC076 C17 ACARS messages show they seem to be having a problem connecting to a datalink...

TIMESTAMP: 23:53:32 MESSAGE DATA:
[FREETEXT]
ITS WORKING NOW BUT DONT YOU HAVE TO TYPE IN A CALL SIGN AND YOUR REGISTRATION
WHEN LOGGING ON TO DATALINK. OR IS IT PRE PROGRAMMED.

TIMESTAMP: 00:02:47 MESSAGE DATA:
[FREETEXT]
I CAN OVERRIDE A REGISTRATION MISMATCH. BUT WHEN THE CALLSIGN DOESNT MATCH THE FLIGHT PLAN THIS WAS THE ONLY THING I COULD DO TO FORCE A CONNECTION

TIMESTAMP: 00:07:04 MESSAGE DATA:
[FREETEXT]
JUST CONTINUE ON FP WITH THE NEW CALLSIGN. I GUESS IF YOU FLY THIS PLANE BACK EXPECT A SIMILAR ISSUE

*Advises they will be doing a practice emergency separation*
1221 - BISON 81 *# not confirmed* (KC-135R/58-0038) boom radio check with FLOOD31 (C-17A/04-4132) on AR-206H prim (348.900)
1225 - Picked up a short transmission on 234.800, sounded like fighters
Was able to snap some pictures of the AR-206 action earlier today. Not the best photos as they were shot through a window and the aircraft were right near the sun!:ROFLMAO:

Anyone in New England area have a list of active frequencies? New to scanning mil-air.

Read through the past few years of these posts and you'll find lots of them, you can also look in the RR database for bases near you and check the FAA UHF frequencies on charts near you. Those are the best suggestions, people usually put together their own lists from searching and logging.

Your previous posts indicate you are in Central Vermont. If that's the case I posted a list over on another thread that might help you out.

Mil Air frequencies near Albany NY

Add 324.600 to that list, which is AR204, runs through that area.

You should get good reception of the VT ANG F-35s out of BTV. I'd be interested in what you can hear.
