Stratcom Global Thunder 26 kicks off today.. Usually takes a couple days before we see bombers flying.
Did have DEED-12 KC-46 McGuire go to Pease the other day so assume will see some action up off the Northeast.

1901 local Mainsail doing radio check on 11175.

@1855L on 395.100 Harr CP; aircraft calls POPS; PennOps this is Bo(w)72 landing with 17K fuel, Alpha 2 for left external tank, need parking and 10min out. There was a C-130J flying around on adsb in the area with an empty callsign - maybe that was him?

Rgr was ZIPPO-72 MC-130J #17-5875 callsign heard down here on their CP 395.100

Now inbound Dover here is KING-73 HC-130J #16-5873 from Long Island Gabreski with full stop parking C-2
on Dover CP 349.400 and Dover approach 132.425.. They don't stop at Dover very often...Rare visit.

Interesting just a bit earlier 1820 local CONGA-11 MH-47G #08-03779 made trip down to Boeing in Del County and back.
Maybe Boeing factory doing some tweaking?

down Va Beach ways tonight.. Heard some weak coms on 311.000.. Above Stratcom Global-26 exercise?

Canada tanker dragging some CFC Hornets to Lajes after NATO exercise in Latvia.

Like this recent Lajes Cam site as excellent for for Mil aircraft loggings...
Nasty crosswind as watch CFC tanker land.. Good pilot! Very smooth in that wind!
Seems flight of 4 CFC Hornets into Lajes :)
One Poster says 4 more tomorrow.

Had interesting flight today. Late in the morning a C-17 (# 01-0187 Java 21) took off from Westover AFB flew down the coast turned in Richmond area then fle northwest past Pittsburgh. After Pittsburgh he flew eastward and is now (1530 EDT) looking like he's headed back to Westover.
I didn't know Westover had C-17s. According to my list #01-0187 is listed as 62ndAMW at McChord AFB. Are they getting out of the C-5 business?

Guys,

A wrap-up f this weekend's CAP in FL from a FL listener

This list was a collective effort!
This covered the start on Friday through the end on Sunday.

As far as we know the 121st is still in Savannah.

non-stop to Hawaii.. Those pax/tanker A-330's have quite the range.

We missed the emergency landing, due to injured crew member, it made shortly after leaving ADW.

1234L- Looks like the same UAV from yesterday flying around the Warren Grove range again
I'm not seeing that. Is there a certain hex showing?

Also Pax Warlok working Shore? on 122.225 Air to ground? Very strong here.
Couple VVHX choppers up and about but come back to HX-21 Blackjacks.

Anyone have any good Air to Air Freqs for this event starting tonight?

I also asked in another forum here.

V/r,
Carl

It's a lot easier if you tell us the event rather than make us search an app we may or may not use.
