"LION 99" a single F-18 with VFA-213 based at NAS Oceana was transiting through Southern Ohio this afternoon.

They were heard working Indianapois Center ARTCC Sector 06 Yeager on 379.975 MHz, and Indianapolis Center ARTCC Sector 79 Bobct on 322.375 MHz

Also heard working Washington Center ARTCC Sector 37 Marlinton on 319.000 Mhz

Strange coincidence that popular McGuire KC-46 boom freq is 378.850.
Also coincidence 378.850 is booming now with McGuire KC-46 ARLO-57,56 headed SW bound..
Sure has been lots of A/R tanker work this Month but listening to coms lots of folks on both ends needing A/R hookups
to get qualified and re-qualified.. Some new and some older. Mil Spring is in the air LOL

Some years ago that 388.850 was popular B-2 A/A freq when they wondered out this way.. Not sure anymore.

Headed to MacDill to stage.. noticed last month a KECK-21 from Miss went down to South America.
Maybe KECK is Southern Command tanker callsign.

What unit are they with? I noted GOOSE-12 #168674 yesterday.

The only thing I could find was VMM-166 (which doesn't exist anymore) and VMM-774 GOOSE "Wild Goose" MV-22B

168674 Noted 10th August 2020 unloaded at Shaiba, Kuwait on delivery to VMM-166 (Reinforced) (“AirForces Monthly”,October 2020).

My best guess would be VMM-774
