Earlier while working - two aircraft on an air/air were reviewing freqs with color names. Apparently the one pilot left his frequency chart back at base.Heard DC ANG BULLY-21 and MISTY flights. 226.675 - ZDC Elkins Low. They use this freq when working EVERS MOA
A-A - 240.250, 285.225

Side note:
I'm going to add 318.775 - EVERS MOA AR Primary to my list [First Hit: 3/7/2025]
Thanks! I had the top two freqs but not the rest. Did you happen to catch the color to frequency mapping and what frequency they were A-A on?Earlier while working - two aircraft on an air/air were reviewing freqs with color names. Apparently the one pilot left his frequency chart back at base.
Some of the frequencies mentioned were
240.250
237.250
376.575
377.875
Not sure if that matches up to anything but figured I would add what I heard. The colors seemed to be corridors.
Okay I do not remember the air to air they were on - not paying attention 100 percent. Thanks! I had the top two freqs but not the rest. Did you happen to catch the color to frequency mapping and what frequency they were A-A on?
I have 377.575 as DC ANG discrete. Please confirm 377.875
I'm receiving them very weak from DC. Wonder where they're at.
When creating a frequency matrix, planners will sometimes use the base color for one band, such as yellow for UHF. Then the specific freqs would be goldenrod, canary, lemon, etc.Okay I do not remember the air to air they were on - not paying attention 100 percent.
Most of the frequencies related to the color Yellow but the 376 and 377 sounded more Yellow than the others (if that makes sense).
Is this possibly related at all to the tail markings (yellow tails for instance)? When creating a frequency matrix, planners will sometimes use the base color for one band, such as yellow for UHF. Then the specific freqs would be goldenrod, canary, lemon, etc.
Not all tankers. I posted earlier ADVICE-12 KC-46 from Pease headed South today to FloridaAppears this weekend CAP tankers will be from KLCK (Columbus OH) and based out of KMCF (Tampa) using callsign ADVICxx

In past area CAP's is funny as had couple new tanker crews using ADVICE come in pronouncing it as ADVICK asNot all tankers. I posted earlier ADVICE-12 KC-46 from Pease headed South today to Florida
Apparently I had a partial recording. Thanks! I had the top two freqs but not the rest. Did you happen to catch the color to frequency mapping and what frequency they were A-A on?

Maybe this.. OY317 (OAE317) Omni Air International Flight Tracking and History - FlightAwareCopied SPAR295 Learjet C-21A talking to Indianapolis approach and tower on their way in this evening.
ETA: Also spotted Omni 317 B763 N378AX and copied them on IND Tower 120.9. Inbound from BIF.. Was N378AX
Indeed it is. I know for a fact that ICE has been busy here lately. They've been dropping off fairly large groups of people at a time at the Marion County Jail.Maybe this.. OY317 (OAE317) Omni Air International Flight Tracking and History - FlightAware
That KBIF seems the busiest US Mil airport these days with ICE work.
