Big up and coming Navy party in Philly promises Blue Angel flyover on Monday.. Thought demo teams were grounded unless
this was already separately budgeted.. Maybe some exceptions?
Saw weather report a Nor ester may hit our area over this coming weekend Sunday and Monday. :(

The ID/KC A-10s should be returning from Lajes to CONUS tomorrow, October 7th 2025.
TABOR 61-66 and TABOR 71-76 are on Coronet East 008. Routing:
Thanks for the ID on this flight Rene. I caught some comms inbound today on recordings.

2026z 356.450 TABOR 71-76 A-A
2030z 263.050 TABOR 71 flight working ZBW on the descent into Pease.
2040z 269.400 TABOR 71 flight working Pease Approach for the initial runway 16 at Pease.

That's all I had. Nothing heard here from TABOR 61 flight. If they did land, they "may" have used VHF ATC freqs inbound which I don't record.

Curious if anyone has seen any accurate scheduling for these supposed Homecoming 250 flyovers? As Mark mentions above, the Blue Angels are scheduled to fly over Independence Hall at 3:20 on Monday but the only other scheduling I've seen appears below. Are there going to be flyovers three times a day? What exactly will be flying over? Is the routing described below accurate for every flyover? It's really annoying when event planners put out vague scheduling like this. And the Philadelphia area media are being no help, as they're just repeating what's been on the Homecoming 250 website for weeks... :(

Location: Philadelphia, Camden, Bucks, Montgomery and Delaware Counties, PA, Burlington, Gloucester, and Salem Counties, NJ, and New Castle County, DE
Duration: October 9-11
Time: 10 a.m., Noon, and 2 p.m.

Marvel as Navy and Marine Corps aircraft fly from Camden up the Delaware River, to Valley Forge, down the Schuylkill and Delaware Rivers to Wilmington, and through South Jersey to the Philadelphia riverfront. More details to be announced.

This was the initial information the group provided, which reads like nothing more than a wish list of aircraft that "could" participate:

Anyone know if there was any notable tanker movement this week, trying to figure out if the 177th FW F-16s left for Japan yet.
From what ive seen so far the wing still has F-16s in their flight line and scramble hangars

CABAL01 (58-0069) is inbound from MacDill AFB right now a Coronet West callsign.
Probably supporting them to Japan ....

I think, as the website says, it depends on availability and hasn't been set in stone, and probably won't be until the day before. The website lists the possible aircraft as follows...

The precise aircraft will depend on operational needs, but it should be a heck of a show! We hope the Blue Angels will perform in their F/A-18 Super Hornets over the heart of the Navy 250th celebration on the Delaware. Other naval squadrons could send aircraft flying over the festivities, including Super Hornets, F-35C Lighting IIC, P-3 Orion, P-8 Poseidon, C-130 Hercules, E-2 Hawkeye, T-45 Goshawk, T-34 Mentor, CH-53E Super Stallion, SH-60 Seahawk, and V-22 Osprey. In addition to the flyovers, helicopters and fixed wing aircraft could be on static display near the 250th celebrations on both banks of the Delaware.

We hope these active-duty aircraft can be joined by flyovers of historic Navy aircraft. These could include World War II’s F4F/FM Wildcat, F6F Hellcat, F4U/FG Corsair, and F8F Bearcat fighters, the TBF/TBM Avenger, SBD Dauntless, SB2C Helldiver, and B-25/PBJ Mitchell bombers, as well as the PBY Catalina, a flying boat which could land on the Delaware.

It also has a schedule of events HERE
