My theory is that McGuire has sunrise and sunset BASH window for birds and that is when these tankers
are often departing arriving there for CAP Ops. KPSM has no BASH windows at sunrise or sunset.

E) AERODROME BASH PHASE II IN EFFECT - AIRCRAFT WILL NOT BE SCHEDULED TO ARRIVE OR DEPART MCGUIRE FIELD WITHIN 1 HOUR OF OFFICIAL SUNRISE OR SUNSET. HOWEVER, A SINGLE UNSCHEDULED DEPARTURE OR ARRIVAL IS AUTHORIZED WHEN OBSERVED BWC IS LOW OR MODERATE DURING THE "LIGHT-SIDE" OF THE BASH PHASE II WINDOW. FOR THE "DARK SIDE" OF THE BASH WINDOW, THE BWC IS SEVERE. IF BWC IS SEVERE, TAKEOFFS AND LANDINGS ARE NOT AUTHORIZED UNLESS APPROVED BY THE 305OG/CC, RESPECTIVE SERVICE COMPONENT EQUIVALENT, OR OIC/CO FOR NON DOD UNITS. and the current CAP tanker is from Wisconsin ANG.....128ARW / 126ARS

no BASH at Milwaukee WI either

Langley gets first two F-22's from Tyndall for the 71st FS the other day.Already have the double FF tails :)

DELDOT did not shut off the camera south of the airport....but at least the person with the blue car has extra security protection in case the vehicle is stolen

Yeah it's going to be one cloudy weekend. It seems of late the action only happens when it's cloudy :cautious:

This new tail making the rounds.. Was at Barksdale last weekend for their airshow and now back up home at NE Philly airport.
Started tour off at NE Philly back on March 21. Assume that is near where they are building them.Notice keeping flights very short.
Two hours 15 min seems to be the max for now.. Got to get much better than that downrange :)

NOBLE-11 flight A/A on Aux-6 on way home 248.650 L+C here.trying next Ctr 363.075 ZOB Altoona no joy so far.
1951 NOBLE-11 on Clev Ctr 346.275 but go back to ZOB 363.075 now have them L+C.

07:58 EDT CAP is active and tanker is IGOR 11 19-46061 Hex AE5FA8 normally based out of McGuire but flight originated from Pease AFB.

Per our previous discussion about BASH and Mark's points....they repositioned the aircraft to Pease to support the CAP.

260.900 for Huntress and 231.625 for the refueling. Air Air so far is 260.900

0620 local GOLD-91 with ZDC Sea Isle 133.125 will hold there with 15 mile legs.
Guess waiting on somebody..
0639 GOLD-91 says about another 10 mics waiting on TABOR flight. Tried tanker boom 378.200 no joy yet.
ZDC Annapolis 290.475 just hit. Must be coming from Andrews.
TABOR-35 on ZDC 360.700 climbing up Eastbound across Ches Bay. Sounds like single ship only.

Another weekend w/ the Ohio guard. Thought they were wrapping up soon?
10:46 local NOBLE-21 will rtb McEntire AFB.. Sound like 169thFW/157th FS SC ANG aircraft.
Seems a pause in the CAP now.
Checking tape at 10:12 NOBLE's pushed Com-1 secure so assume they got a message.
Then at 10:15 they went Aux-14 Com-1 as seemed secure com didn't work.
The 157th FS ANG still use VHF A/A so may have to scan that band next time.
