Off topic but, wow only $750 to attend the FAA Drone Symposium

So owners and operators pay a big fee to listen to govt paid FAA guys tell you what they
are gonna do with you... sounds like a real bargain :( Hope they at least feed ya..

Another Friday and another no show P-46A delivery for McGuire.. Only have one delivered this Calander year so far.
I haven't even seen any test P-46A's flying around Seatle area either.. Boeing already $2 billion in hole on them.
Guess they figure put the manpower into the moneymakers.

Several Army H-60's up around the US but not many yet.. May 5th was supposed to be first day for some active units after stand down.

Unidentified fighters headed east and passing over IL. A/A on 298.200. I have that tagged as VFA-103, but haven’t heard any callsigns. “Picking up a tailwind,” so apparently they are headed eastward.

In case if you wondered how Joint Base Andrews got the name from Camp Springs AAF... good story.

1925 local - MC-12W Liberty on ADSB offshore VB waterfront and over KNFE Fentress doing auto and manual circles and a sort of spiral square pattern. Never seen one in this area except once, and it was offshore. Any idea why it’s there or what frequencies? View attachment 141256

Just before 11:30 EDT a Navy P-8 Poseidon out of Jacksonville Naval Air Station passed by New Castle DE at 35,000 feet... One of these aircraft spent over an hour doing touch-and-go at New Castle's airport last summer - this view is a bit more distant ;) Still, they're a pretty rare sight in these skies.

1140- There is now a KING 70 C-130 circling the WG range (also out of 106th Gabreski on LI) KING 70 calling JOLLY 11 on 283.1 and conversing with DOUBLE CROSS. Sounds like a troop rescue out of one of the mock villages. DOUBLE CROSS sounds like a ground unit.

It flew directly over me but I couldn't get any pictures.

Oh look, an RAF tanker from Fort Hood is coming. Too bad it's too far south. Wonder if it has any fighters
