This morning heard some
Hearing Backy03 on 327.375. Dk if they are new and training or what but he was talking with a fighter about what speeds did they turn at and talking about points in the horizon
Recon

Thanks for the freq. Will add it to my scanners since we sometimes get the Backys up here in W386.

Rgr Ron search on group here that freq 327.375 shows as 4th FW Tac freq as logged by Jared
on vacation last year in Myrtle Beach... He made very nice long list from that area so that maybe Recon and others can also use.

OT: Funny observation on that Supersonic test flight over the Mojave today.. Someone kept asking about
the chase planes and commentator just kind of brushed them off as seems he knew little except their type.
A private T-38 and ATAC Mirage F-1.. Anyway as test progressed commentator says this XB-1 will end up out running the
chase planes.. Uhhh No.. Correct answer is both chase planes are easily supersonic and had no problems keeping up :)

OT: It was very cool that they were able to obtain supersonic speeds three times today. It was also mentioned that for the next flight they will be using special cameras to record Schlieren shockwaves generated by the supersonic speeds. At NAS Oceana in 2023 I was able to capture those shockwaves on an F-18 with one of my Nikons - a one-in-a-million photo. Through the installation PAO I was later able to get the photo to the pilot, Lt. Paige Westoby - aka "Piglet" ;)
