No hits on 227.275 from Central OH, but had the flight on 239.125. Possible SD ANG based on the freq. I think they were F-16s, lots of discussion about Fort Wayne receiving Block 42s from Tulsa.
Thanks, Jared. I’ll have to update my tag for 239.125. Not sure why, but I currently have it tagged as an AWACS frequency on my radios.

Hearing A/A traffic on 227.275 here in northern IL. Sounds like fighter jets (no callsigns heard, but definite mask radios) traveling eastbound with KC-135’s BAT61 (59-1506) and BAT62 (59-1519) out of the 185th ARW, Sioux City, IA. Much discussion of an approach at Barnes.
This was LOBO 11 - 4 x F-16's just landed at Pease. Heard on 227.275 A/A and using UHF for ATC.

1350 - LOBO 51 - 3 x F-16's up on 239.125 A/A
1400 - Working ZBW on 257.850 inbound Pease

ZDC reorganized their low sectors in that area almost 4 years ago. Sector 24 and Sector 28 no longer exist, they were combined into Sector 25 to form a single sector. The eastern part of the former ZDC airspace in this area was given to Cherry Point Approach (up to FL230).

This "new" Sector 25 has been using 123.850 and 279.650. I'm not sure what the status of 124.725, 350.350, 296.700 are ? I have not heard any of them in use recently. Has anyone heard them being used ?

Here is the update from ZDC dated September 24, 2019

Thanks a lot! My most recent ZDC Sector maps are dated 1994, so it looks like I've got some studying yet to do. So if I'm hearing you right, is it fair to say that airspace the Dare County ranges is now Cherry Point's department?

Nice catches. The LOBOS of the 114th FW South Dakota ANG.
Sure is shaping up to be busy early Summer as tankers working from Halifax and Iceland as well for this Airbridge.
Pease AFB seems to be ground zero on this side of Pond :) I think Bangor KBGR is repaving its 11k foot runway all Summer.

A peek at the new Canforce A330 transports.. Will seem like Cadillacs next to the old 1980's era A-310's.

Just stopped into Pease on my way home from NHRA drag racing in Epping, NH. I can visually confirm I saw seven SD F-16s on the Port City Air FBO ramp.
