14:55L: One of the NOBLEs reported unusual vibrations in the jet. Warning and standby lights went on.

14:58L: Now reporting faster vibrations. Jet is saying to LAND ASAP. Pilot wants to RTB

15:00L: Reports 1 generator is out and now considering landing at Atlantic City of McGuire because of f16 support (Newark was mentioned lol)

lots of interesting chatter - about where to land......

I liked the comment from the other pilot - if you overfly a military field (McGuire) to land at another with better support (Atlantic City) and you crash - you will never fly again.

Get the aircraft on the ground.....let those above you handle the issues after you land.

1523L- Sounded like the fighters just headed south, sounded like they just went over my QTH about 5 mins ago.(ACY or WRI)
NOBLE 41 flight is inbound at this time...

NOBLE 31 - flight of two headed back to McEntire - as long as they have one good generator they will be fine.

Rgr NOBLE-31 headed for McEntire A/A 260.900 says engine still has vibration but not overly
worried about it.
NOBLE's push ZDC Leesburg 285.450 from ZDC 307.275 FL-260 standard formation.

I'm dying to hear what the problem was.... maybe a rare PTO shaft failure?

Thanks

1812 - NOBLEs starting rtb McEntire on 228.9 A-A.
Picking them up weakly down this way they tried pushing ZNY 323.150 which I have in my old scanner as ZNY Colts Neck.
No Joy so pushed 307.275 then over to ZDC Martinsburg? 379.300. Haven't heard that ZNY 323.150 active in many years.
I think an old dead freq around here.
Direct Raleigh on ZDC 379.300 then over to ZDC 281.400 Pax River FL-240 standard.
Not chatting much but still A/A on 228.900

Space X launch at 10:09 pm tonight from the Cape.Departing to the Southeast.

Speaking of launches Terry,Raleigh and all there is a launch Monday night 7 PM local/2300z of
Atlas-5 at Cape : First round of Amazon com satellites.

A United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas 5 rocket will launch a batch of 27 of Amazon’s Project Kuiper internet satellites. These are the first production satellites that will make up Amazon’s satellite internet megaconstellation, which will include 3,236 satellites.
Early flight tracking shows going Northeast up the East Coast though not sure how far offshore.
Curious if an Atlas 5 shows better than Space X.. Prob would show better at 8PM .

Funny over the last 50 years the complaints you hear about Space junk yet we keep adding way more :)

Project Kuiper has secured 80 launches from Arianespace, Blue Origin, SpaceX, and United Launch Alliance, and we have options for additional launches with Blue Origin, providing enough capacity to deploy the majority of our satellite constellation.

Was supposed to be all done by 2029 but not betting the house on that.
