The OP
E-7s are the replacements for the USAF B-707 based E-3s. Perhaps they are helping to familiarize test pilots and engineers with their operation pre-delivery.

Off topic, but...

I know times are tough, but really, the government is buying uniforms at Goodwill?

"Goodwill Industries of South Florida Inc.,** Miami, Florida, has been awarded a maximum $15,175,195 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for women's service uniform dress slacks."

Still has large roomy concrete parking areas of that ex NAS base..
I don't understand why we don't have any Navy P-8A's based up that way..
All crammed down in Florida and Wash State.Maybe someday the Navy will start breaking up the two huge current domestic P-8A Air Stations
and station some of them closer to the action.

1805 local some A/A coms on 319.400 AMC Common or the old McGuire CP freq.
One is I believe RCH-231 #09-9206 437th AW coming down the coast.. He mentioned have been in Europe for 2 weeks.

Agreed! Brunswick is a waste of an airfield with twin 8,000 ft runways! How'd you like seeing the nice shiny new control tower in the background when AF1 was taxiing? That was built JUST before the base closed. Now it sits vacant for years. At least the brand new massive hangar the Navy built before the base closed gets some use!

Going though my recordings of Brunswick Unicom from today:

All heard on 122.725 all times local EDT.

1219pm TROY 171 self ID as helicopter landing runway 19L (Homeland Security Helo according to Ron's list)
136pm TROY 171 take off, orbit over station at 4,000 ft.
140pm EXECUTIVE ONE FOXTROT ID as 737 inbound to land runway 19L full stop.
221pm AIR FORCE ONE 3 mile final for runway 19L Brunswick.
243pm MARINE ONE ID as a flight of five clear to the West.
425pm SAM 49 ID as 757 10 miles to the South for Right Base runway 19.
429pm SAM 46 Short final 19L. (sounded like the same pilot for SAM 49 who used 49 all the way in until the last two calls before landing)
545pm SAM 29 airborne to the South. (This was 92-9000 heading out, currently over NJ at the time of me typing)

Also recorded Auburn/Lewiston Municipal (KLEW) airport too on their Unicom of 122.8 in case anything landed over there. Only mil comms heard was TROY 171 at 244pm orbiting just North of the airport.

636pm He just left Geiger Elementary School where he met with families of victims privately. Heading to Marine One now. Hope to catch some comms on the SDR...Fingers crossed!
648pm 122.725 COAST GUARD 2013 (C-130) inbound runway 19L. (Forgot to mention he was at Brunswick earlier in the morning (934am) He's now inbound from Elizabeth City, NC.

Musical planes tonite, SAM46 09-0015 becomes AF1, 92-9000 deadhead back to ADW and 0018 takes off as the new SAM46.

Hope we all can keep track of that.
Interesting that 92-9000 took off and called himself SAM 29. I didn't follow him on ATC, did he change to 46 on the way back to DC?

The WH shares the following (and clarified verbally that the statement below refers to AF1.) ...

"During landing in Maine, the aircraft sustained a minor maintenance issue. A different aircraft will be utilized during the flight from Maine to Delaware."

The Egyptian Air Force SU-BTV just landed in New Castle, 12:15pm EDT. Dassault Falcon 7X VIP transport plane. Flight originated in St. Louis. I guess it was time for service at the Dassault facility at KILG :)

View attachment 150676

SU-BTV has been at Spirit of St Louis Airport (KSUS) on previous occasions. Dassault maintenance is available there.

"Dassault Falcon Jet St. Louis
Line Service Center

St Louis, a 27,000 sq. ft. facility at Spirit of St. Louis (KSUS) airport, is authorized to perform “12 Month” through “48 Month” inspections as well as avionics installations on the Falcon 50, Falcon 2000 and Falcon 900 family of aircraft as well as the Falcon 7X and 8X. It has about $1.5 million in tooling, equipment and Falcon spares in addition to a hangar, shop and offices for employees and customers."
