5:30 PM THE PRESIDENT departs the White House en route Camp David from South Lawn, doubt we will see CAP on Friday.

TFR issued for weekend, but sources said there may be a move to Wilmington on Sunday, will know more tomorrow.

The first new-build F-16 Viper in the advanced Block 70 configuration has completed its maiden flight. The flight took place on January 24 out of Lockheed Martin’s new production line in Greenville, South Carolina. Interest in advanced, all-new F-16s has surged since production of the aircraft was moved from Fort Worth, Texas, to Greenville in 2017. This has resulted in a backlog of 128 jets on order at the facility. Bahrain, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Taiwan, and an additional unspecified customer are awaiting delivery of those aircraft, and more orders will be on the way.

That went over me yesterday going south bound while I was in Raritan Twp, Hunterdon County. I didn't get an eyeball but it was definitely a helo. I popped my phone out real quick and It did show out of Stewart.

Watching the Glare ##acft over the las couple of weeks indicates, to me at least, that the Glare ## callsign is pilot assigned and not acft assigned. At 0955- Glare 08 now operating at FL120 off the NJ coast, east of Lakehurst.

0955- Unid DHS acft (no call noted) working discrete (136.275 AM) reporting they are at 7,500 ft.

This isn't an equipment review site, but I'd like to put in a good word for the Bearcat 125AT. For $110 and up, it's handy and cheap. I keep one in the door pocket of the Jeep and never miss an opportunity to visit an airport. Fine for VHF and UHF air and anything else you want to hear except for the digital police stuff. Two AA cells run it all day. Not for DX, but for local listening it works fine.
