Today I went by the Old NAS Willow Grove, Joint Reserve Base now Bittle ANG Base. I was on the Horsham roadside of the base, and I was surprised to see the Radar still there and spinning.
Any thoughts from anyone why it would still be in operation? They operate drones remotely so is there a need for it to be operational?

22:17 Getting some type of helo traffic on 228.9 very hard to copy.
22:40 Was getting an adsb for over an hour on a helo over Camp Lejune and very weak traffic on 228,9 . Pretty sure that was it.
00:01 Callsign very broken just heard 41 returning for minor flight control problem 228.9. ADSB was showing FENIX04 helo over Lejune.
00:11 Fenix04 landed.

I guess on a pre Holiday med-evac mission.. Reports 75 patients,2 litter patients,12 attendants and 2 pallets..
