0940- An interesting transit. Epic 42 (UH-72 # 07-72042) through our area at 900 ft. Departed from Newburgh NY (Stewart ANGB). Working Wash Helo (134.35). ADS-B showing him land at Pentagon.

Starting around Jan 23 to Feb 3 an exercise at the Avon Park Bombing
Range was underway.
A-10's were TDY at MacDill AFB and also flying down from Moody AFB.
They worked both the Avon Park and Pinecastle ranges.
Believe the A-10's that were at MacDill were from the IN ANG, 163rd FS
based on previous frequencies used and call signs.
The 93rd FS from Homestead ARB was involved.
KC-46A tankers from the 77th ARS came down to AR the F-16's.

I first saw it Saturday afternoon on Twitter, well before the F-22 activity. But it was being heavily re-posted so I have no idea as to the original timing. I know at one point that afternoon it was part of the SC contrail montage on CNN implying that it, too, was a military flight.
Of course it's not real. It's a joke. I saw it and thought it was funny.

mode s and most mil aircraft on routine training and traffic don't care. In fact some Dod family members use it to track
their own family members/friends at work.. I'd be more worried about TikTok than our hobby
