Probably the USCG helos down here in NJ doing intercept practice. The Huntress Gibbsboro site is always used when they are doing Huntress training.

Yeah they were dragging a long wire down the street here. I tied it to the neighbors fence.
Have a safe drive, don't forget your camera and a big lens, we are all curious.

Looks like they departed Dover on RCH-789 #98-0051 . In the past they hauled their rescue trucks too. Not this time or on another flight?

It will depend on the mission that they are tasked with. There might be vehicles already staged for their use when they arrive.
CA-TF2, USA 2 has also be activated and is traveling to Turkey.

DECOY99, a C-17 training flight out of MRB, just requested and received clearance to 10K VFR over the field...and then got a clearance for a right base. One of the things they like to practice up there is dumping a lot of altitude very quickly and getting on the ground very fast--like, before someone can put a hand-held missile up your pipe. It's really fascinating to watch from over by the cafe.
