NOBLES tell Huntress we will be rtb Langley soon.. Salisbury,Jamie, to KLFI.
Guess they are not Makos.. Mentioned they did month of CAP prep work before getting out here.. Maybe the Tulsa guys?
NOBLE gets clearance to Langley also added via Cape Charles.. NOBLE-11 asks Do you know Cape Charles? Nope comes reply. Will look it up.
Really surprised these guys use same A/A as Makos. Am sure other A/A freqs will come into play soon.
NOBLE gets spelling of Cape Charles from ZDC as CCV.. CCV : CAPE CHARLES navaid | OpenNav Push ZDC 307.275.
That explains the 16s I saw depart Langley earlier. All Colorado tails.

I am a firefighter in Philadelphia and they move Military equipment out of the Port of Philadelphia more than everyone realizes. Helicopters they will fly them to the port and crews package them for the ship right on the dock. We usually provide fire protection while this is going on. I will check with some people to see if anything is going on.

Big Thanks! I was just signing in to mention you saw CO F-16's so maybe that is them.
F-16's are actually kind of rare at Langley so took me a while till bells went off.. LOL
Especially when they said A/A "working out here" and never heard of Cape Charles which is just outside Langley. :)
Seems the 140th Wing ANG at Buckley is on the chopping block as well.
As F-16s age at Buckley, Air Guard wing looks towards an uncertain future

Why aren't there articles in the local newspapers etc whenever these Fighter Squadrons go on TDY for the NOBLE mission? It's essentially a deployment, right?
Most NORAD deployments are not advertised.. Sometimes you will see article about a Norad intercept but never ID the specific unit.
They figure for security purposes none of our business...

NOBLE's back up again today A/A same 284.100.pointing out landmarks.. No doubt new to the area.

See a BLUE-11 KC-10 #85-0033 departing Lajes Westbound this morning. Flying low at 17k so maybe dragging A-10's?
Could be some of those 354th FS Davis Monthan A-10's who went to Middle East back in October?

Yes, you are correct Mark. TABOR 61-66 going to Dover AFB, BLUE 11 to Pease. Second cell still at Lajes.

Sounds like one of the Noble pilots is very new and the senior pilot is working with him on things. They were talking about the Bridge in Baltimore and the Carrier in port at PNSY. Just asked him what planes are on the ramp at Dover.

They tested their ops channels. Ops 19 is 284.100 and Ops 20 is 376.175. Same as Macko's

Sooo, looking more like 284.1 & 376.175 are going to be standard CAP A2A freqs no matter who's doing CAP duty.

Do we know that the Mako aircraft have actually departed, or could it be a different crew of pilots flying the same aircraft? I don't remember a count of how many 93rd/482nd aircraft were actually located up here, or how many crew were called up.
