EPA, partnering with NASA, is developing an airborne remote sensing system called Transportable Environmental Resource Observation Suite (TEROS). The instrument supports landscape analysis such as urban infrastructure mapping, land cover change, wetland and coastal zone change detection, and water quality research on algal blooms and mine drainage sediments.
The instrument suite is comprised of two hyperspectral imagers that cover the visible to short wave infrared region, a thermal camera for temperature sensing, and a mapping camera for the production of 3D digital terrain models. The TEROS package is certified to fly on common Cessna aircraft as an underbelly pod configuration. This allows TEROS to be shipped to field study locations and operate using local aircraft providers.
Yeah they don't take long to climb up from ACY as they are at about FL200 when they make Dupont waypointDEVIL 11 "cleared to KACY via the DM101 .... climb maintain 2k expect 24K ten minutes after departure ,departure channel 6 squawk 6572 ". That is how they are provided their clearance. Presume DM stands for DUKE MOA.

Interesting comment was just staging/fuel stop there at Lehigh before departure to Philadelphia. What's this all about?
Chinooks, Apaches and Blackhawks will land in the Lehigh Valley this weekend
A total of 69 military aircraft will be flying in and out of Lehigh Valley International Airport from Saturday through Monday, including Blackhawks, Apaches and Chinook helicopters.www.lehighvalleynews.com

Maybe they will do one of those City Army SOAR type chopper exercises into Philly over the weekend?
Would be cool to see some Blackhawks zipping up Broad Street LOL
Maybe time to start a low band search 40-55 MHZ when they get to town.
Heard a rumor they are headed to the port of Philly and then on their way for deployment.....?If it is training scheduled for Philly, I would have expected some local news coverage. When they did the Army exercises in 2022 with SAR and mass casualty drills, there were multiple stories about it ahead of time and that was only a couple Blackhawks involved.

How will these helicopters reach CENTCOM? Travel to Dover and then loaded into larger aircraft? This article has a bit more detail and mentions a rotation of forces for CENTCOM.
Why, and when, some 70 military helicopters will be flying in and out of Lehigh Valley
The public should not be concerned with increased air traffic as U.S. Army Apache, Chinook and Black Hawk helicopters visit the Lehigh Valley, airport officials said.www.lehighvalleylive.com
They mention the port of Philadelphia, so I assume by boat. How will these helicopters reach CENTCOM? Travel to Dover and then loaded into larger aircraft?
Normally Antwerp Belgium is port of shipping for Europe Army gear rotations but last two years they have also used DenmarkThey mention the port of Philadelphia, so I assume by boat.
Thanks
