09:00 EDT HUNTRESS -- on 260.900 booming in at the NJ beach thanks to the radio conditions (I am sure the fog helps).

Sounds as loud as we hear GIANTKILLER from the Cape May site.
Yes I agree, I’m getting 260.9 L/C down here in OC, almost more clear than when I’m up in PHL area! Always fascinates me how certain days can be drastically different in terms of radio reception.

1130 - NOBLE21 on station.

1138L- DEVIL 11 flight still looping over me. Wife got some shots with her super-duper camera.
1144L- They just did the flyover at NWS Earle on the Sandy Hook Bay at 700 ft, now heading home down the NJ coast.

1520- Noble 21 working Huntress (260.9) advising he's developed an electrical issue that requires him to depart CAP. Not sure if he'll head to Shaw or divert to ACY.
Ooops Terry. Didn't see ur post before I hit send button.
no worries - interesting situation - sometimes the phone works better. At least it is not a real emergency situation ;)

Headed back to Shaw as a two-ship. Will see if ACY puts up some alert jets.

15:25 EDT NOBLE 21 with electrical issue RTB Shaw or ACY depending on his chat with maintenance (unable to connect via SatCom), NOBLE 22 trying now....
on 260.900 with BigFoot.....no luck on SatCom going to use the old reliable telephone. NOBLE 21 has a main generator failure.
1542 - Sounded like “going to start working clearance as a 2-ship to Shaw”

One of the AGONY B-52s on the way back to Barksdale after getting all the way up to Alaska this morning. Assuming this is an air spare as the other two BUFFs continue towards the NW Pacific? They had 4 tankers out of Fairchild as their first A/R, PICO11-14.

IGOR-22 says will rtb Scott AFB KBLV.
See one of the Buffs #60-0021 is rtb Barksdale.. Guess was airspare. Hawk noticed that too.
Yeah maybe two ship BTF to South Korea or Guam or farther in the SW Pacific?

If you go over to the Milair Wisconsin board some A/A and Ops freqs today for Wisconsin F-35's.
Always like to add the local squad Ops freq cause sometimes on road trips they also double as A/A Tacs.
They are doing football games all weekend in the State. Bad day for Wisconsin school football today but maybe
better luck at Green Bay tomorrow :)

I didn’t read up much on it, but I believe Russia sent a few aircraft into the Alaskan ADIZ a few days ago, testing the outer limits of the zone. I can only assume that this is just a response to that and show of force?
That was my theory on the morning post as seems Russia did ADIZ twice this week but still no biggie.
Maybe Buffs do double duty mission in flying down Western Pacific coast Japan, etc to check up on Russia or China scrambles
while also completing a BTF mission at same time.

As mentioned above, HMX-1 ferried President Biden from KILG just after 3:40pm EDT, about 15 minutes behind schedule. Like I saw earlier this week, the lineup was once again 2 VH-3Ds and one of the new VH-92As bringing up the rear.

VH-3Ds were 159357 (departed first) and 159360. VH-92A was 169180. There were 2 V22s at the ANG but I also only saw one departure.

159357 was AF1 according to ground sources

On Monday, September 16, the President will travel to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His arrival will be at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) about 2:30PM.
