NHAWK31 168689 AE64C1 in bound to NY. Spare parts to repair?
Seems that way inbound JFK.. Was watching this one too.:)

Meanwhile overseas drones continue to haunt US RAF bases and everyone is just scratching their heads.
Hard to believe with Ukraine/Russia war and years of tech $$ and talk blather from our own Mil and contractors we sure look
weak when drones encroach and nothing they can do... Wake up you guys!
Mark White baffled as mystery drones continue to pop up across UK - ‘A real head scratcher’

COSMIC-01,02 back inbound A/C real strong A/A 376.150 and AC CP 261.000.
They went up to R-704 (Duke MOA) in Pa and now returning.. Don't get many hits on that A/A freq.

Jersey was swarmed with heavies +55lbs this past week. Below the Bravo but into some Delta. Also CI loitering. The result our first two pure drone FAA TFR’s.
One today 2 miles and up to 2000’.

Is 376.150 a 119th FS NJ ANG A-A freq?
I believe that is old NORAD common A/A freq not used often.. Searching here we had the Florida MAKO's
using it as A/A with NOBLE CAP callsign back in January.. Very rare around here anymore but I would plug it in
as NORAD A/A common.. In case F-16's from different squads they have a common button freq already programmed.

Nice article.. Yeah saw that Jersey TFR this morning. Good thru Dec 26 for now.
The USAF and Navy and others are pointing fingers at US Army which technically has job of
defending all mil bases with their high tech THAAD and Patriots but that is like try swatting a mosquito with a sledge hammer.
Its time for Mil bases to get their own counter drone systems and lots cheaper than a single F-35.
There are counter drone Drones capable of zipping up and intercepting these guys with simple weapons to disable them.
Heck even deploying a fish net with weights would bring it down... I wonder sometimes about who is running the military these days.

That's strange. I had added this to my list: 376.175 - CAP NOBLE A-A - MAKO 93rd FS F-15 A-A [ADDED 01-13-2024]
I'll add 376.150 as well.

I'm reminded of that incident in which a soldier stole a light aircraft and landed it on the WH south lawn a few decades back. The heaviest weapon the USSS had closely at hand was a shotgun, if I recall correctly. In the case of small drones, shotguns should be helpful.

1654 AF1 09-0015 on the way to Thanksgiving in Nantucket and Nantucket Memorial Airport
See backup 0017 right behind... News says first Holiday traffic delay as FAA issued a temp ground stop at Newark airport :(
Said shortage of controllers at Philly ATC Ctr which now controls that area.
Lot of delays at Boston too but not many cancellations. FlightAware MiseryMap®
AF-2 #99-0004 coming home East over Utah.
