I think this may have been posted before, but probably not hurt to read again. Details the mission of the C-32s as they take over a long standing mission. In the "old days" the C-20Cs they mention in the article were called SENEX (Senior Executive) aircraft. Mission was to be available for POTUS, VPOTUS and others (SecDef, Speaker of House etc) to get out of DC in a crisis.
