That would be the new system we were waiting on. Good find, I’ll be over that way in a few weeks, mostly in Big Spring but I should be able to RX it from there

The Data channel has not been on for about a week now.
I didn’t hear it in the two weeks I was up there ending last Wednesday so it’s probably been longer than that. I was RX-ing the Midland 800 MHz system and GATRRS Midland both sites and Odessa just fine from Stanton but never got any activity on the Midland County 700 MHz freqs

Midland S.O. Hardcore bubba factor present. You can tell them by the slope of their brow.

Seems kinda "small' considering the City may be using it....Fully integrated, IDK. Maybe just patches

Are you POSITIVE. They took $11M from America Rescue Plan Act for themselves, NOT the people.

Well…..who knows. That would be terrible considering Midland is the only one still in the clear. MCSO, ECSO and Odessa PD/FD are all fully encrypted. Some gaslighting in that article too, they are already on a P25 Phase 2 TDMA system albeit Harris. But since DPS, Odessa/Ector and now Midland County are all on Motorola systems, I guess they want to fit in so why not waste 17 million? Not like there are a lot of needed infrastructure projects in the city, right?
