1320 looks like Montgomery pd new encrypted dispatch talkgroup

Mongomery PD switched dispatch traffic to "PD PATROL" (this should be TG 1320) at about 7:30 AM on September 1st. This talkgroup is indeed encrypted. Hopefully this is only temporary, but given that Mongomery City Fire is encrypted, I would not be shocked to see the police go the same route. Truly a shame if that is the case.

They need to setup a delayed feed I don’t think people trust them from reading the Nextdoor app

whats the purpose of a feed? its redundant. there trying to keep people from listening to them. why spend all that money on encp and then turn around and rebroadcast it . if they wanted to be heard over the air . they would have left dispatch open and encp officers. thats how it works in san fransico ca . this is going to end up causing debate . you can debate the issue all day and nothing is going to change. It’s making them look bad cause when people call 911 call goes unanswered and it takes them forever to show up if they show up at all on the neighborhood app a lot of people have been talking about them and their move to encrypted communications

crimeradar is the big one . AI has done more harm than good . just my thoughts streaming platforms, scanner apps have done way more bad than good. if they had banned law enforcement tg like they did tac channels i dont think we would be in this positon now . in the 70-90 no one cared that ur personal info was going out over the airways.

That is true.Montgomery have to do a delay feed like all the other police departments that when encrypted to keep transparency cause people are really angry with them right now

i can assure you there not going to do a feed even with a delay. it defeats the purpose of encryption. a delayed feed would serve no pupose. would u want to hear what happened like 20- 30 mins ago. thats called history. the only way to get a real time encrp feed would be for the agency to use what i call mixed encryption . dispatch clear and officers encp. like san fran pd does.
