Things are getting hairy in Mobile with the approach of Ivan to the coast.

This feed has been sporadic the last few weeks. When it's working, it's usually working well. When it's down, it's usually down for days on end (and almost always on weekends).

al.com may be in need of some digital Viagra for this feed, because they can't keep it up!

It's frustrating, too. Because until I can lay my checking account around a new trunking scanner, that feed is all I've got.

Are you wanting to listen to the county or city?

I can stream Mobile county for you. I pick it up fine from my house in Foley.
I can do it for a while of you need it. If you use winamp, you can see the talkgroups displayed in winamp. It's setup already, it's just off right now. City of Mobile comes in, just not as good as I'd like.

For what it's worth, reception wasn't too great via al.com, either.

I start the new job on 5 June 06, but should have my new scanner in the next week or so.

Its 4:17 PM and they're still up heh heh...

But you're right, it gets scratchy every once in a while. They must be using a scanner with the antenna on the scanner inside the building. Because when I'm mobile I can hear everything fairly clear anywhere in the county.
