Is anyone aware of the UID 1251530? Keyed up on 2031 this morning during some raids. Involved agencies are DEA, NYSP, MCSO, IRS, OCSO, RPD, Greece PD, Brighton PD, and GRANET.

@mc48 Command would make sense given the traffic.

In other news, the 2020-2029 range, possibly extending into the 2030s, can be confirmed as investigation tacs with 2021, 2029, and 2031 active during yesterday's raids. 2020, while not used, can be presumed to be of similar use given 2021, 2029, and RIDs noted on the channel. Submission pending on all 4.

I've got all RIDs used documented, should anyone want them, given the amount of federal and other seldom heard units participating, it could shed some light on some previously unknown channels.

I logged several hits on TG 2035 on 10/26 Monroe E with RIDs 2325447 and 2325448.
Also I had single hits on 10/25 on 2036, 2038, 2039 and 2040 never seen before then.
2034 shows RID 1011388 online now.
I was recording with UT looking for something else on 10/25 and 10/26. I normally do not pay any attention to these TE groups since little possibility of of a positive ID for a submission.

@k2hz

The fact these are TE is... interesting. They operated totally in the clear on Tac Count, East, West, and all the channels I've been over.

If I had to put money on it, I would say, given the encryption, these are channels for the specific teams conducting the raids, with all the planning being done in the clear. After listening to the traffic, I quickly discovered the news didn't get every agency operating, the ones I noted traffic from: RPD SIS, SWAT, and Narcotics teams, Greece PD SWAT and CID, GRANET, MCSO SWAT, Brighton PD, NYSP SORT, ICE SRT, HSI SRT, VIPER, and a DHS division I can only find record of operating in the Houston area called the Drug and Gang Network (DG-Net).

I heard none of these agencies (sans Greece) actually conducting the raids. If anyone has any RIDs from those channels logged, I can match it with my notes from the ops in the clear and figure out who, if any specific agency, these are allocated to.

Are you positive all of them are TE? 2031 was previously totally encrypted until I heard the unmistakable sound of 1251530 blowing on his mic for a test after switching to the channel.

I suspect 2325447 and 8 are GRANET (with 2325454 being "GRANET-2" and other hits in the 23254## range seem to also be GRANET). I would lean toward 2035 being a GRANET tac.

Update: The only traffic I have on the channels k2hz mentioned I have is from 9/29. One encrypted transmission at 4:32, another at 4:52, then 2325405 "8816 [TAC-16]" coming on the air at 5:11 saying his call sign. Finally, "8816" tries to contact "Records" at 5:13.

I also have 2325405 logged from yesterday's festivities.

Any time a 20xx TG has come up in ID Search mode on my SDS100 it has been TE. Even when in the clear, these tactical operations usually give no clue to what agency is the primary user and what the use is. Particularly true of these joint operations. Even if you ID one of the agencies involved in the operation that is not necessarily who the TG is assigned to unless it is in a sequence with other TGs for that agency like some of the MCSO special TGs. The only thing I see from the 20xx TGs is they seem to have users from multiple agencies including possibly Federal.

RTS Deprecated, anyone know why? These talkgroups are still in use, maybe the UHF and links were shut down but the talkgroups are still active as of today.

I submitted it as deprecated after listening with nothing heard on any UHF frequency while corresponding P25 TG active and saw licenses expired and cancelled. Fairport CSD has an application pending to use the 452.325 frequency now that it is no longer licensed to RGRTA.

I am listening now and a lot of chatter on TG1263 (Bus 2) and nothing on 452.375. I also am not hearing the periodic UHF CWIDs that used to be active.

I saw the Fairport application for the RGRTA frequency a few days ago and checked and saw the RGRTA license cancelled. So I checked for activity on the former frequencies while the associated TGs were active and, hearing nothing, submitted the UHF links as deprecated. All the P25 TGs are very much alive and well.

I misread/conflated k2hz's two submissions, so that's on me. No harm, no foul...everything is as it should be now.

Mystery solved, I just didn't want the TGID's to get dropped and then need to be added later.

Now, the next question is why are the Law UHF links still up. It seems like everybody is on the P25 system now. VHF Fire and Airport links still needed until RFD switches over.

In the future, if you see something like that needing attention, please make a submission. That is the most direct way to ensure an RRDB issue gets taken care of. I happened to see your post this time, but I don't always read every thread.

I would have made a submission but wanted to see what may have happened before I did.

I agree why are all the other links still needed, how much money is wasted keeping an extra system up and running. The selling point was these systems were obsolete and needed replacement, yet years later and they are still in use.

Not all of law has transitioned.

Money isn't being wasted with the links. See reply above.

New TG on the West site #2369 , I have no idea who it is, but it's encrypted. Unit ID's are unknown and start with 1011XXX and 2922XXX.
