I have also heard tow trucks being dispatched and then heard follow up on RPD West Admin with the car that made the request. I think that may have been early January, I don't recall the TG and apparently never wrote it down.
I also noticed that something has changed on the west site as now my HP2 works much better and decodes with fewer errors.

I am hearing occasional activity of what appears to be a new RPD Talk Group 2408. It sounds like it is tow truck dispatch but not sure if that is the only use.

I heard "451, 451, need 2 hooks for the crash. 420 Merchants Road....." Then "451 acknowledged by phone, ECD clear 1140"

There was definitely some issue going on with west a week or two ago. Seems to be resolved now.

For many years I have been attempting to determine the user of TG1061. I suspected Office of Emergency Management but never heard enough to determine. It is quite busy today with communications regarding Covid19 vaccinations at the Dome Arena and Convention Center.

Can anyone confirm who TG1061 is?

Also hearing unidentified Law car to car " you over here?" on TG2213 and apparently East Rochester PD car to car on TG2215 "914 channel 2"

I heard the exact same thing on 1061 last week, no idea who it actually is, and I have never heard 2213 or 2215 on the west site.
I'm wondering what happened to TG 1006 ARFF, I no longer her anything from the airport on the west site?

I do think 2213 is an east side agency so doubtful any units would affiliate with the West cell. I am hearing normal TG1006 activity and the other Airport TGs on Monroe East. Maybe something has changed so no 1006 units are affiliating with Monroe West although the Airport seems to be right in the overlap of the East, South and West cells.

The 106x TGs seem to be County services that used to be on 153.920 Local Government. 1065/1066 is the Medical Examiner and 1067 seem to be related to Monroe Community Hospital but is very seldom heard. Parks units used to be 153.920 but most don't seem to have radios now other than some vehicles seen at Seneca park that are probably on the Zoo TG. So, I think OEM is the likely suspect for 1061. The vaccination site activity would logically be either OEM or the Health Department. Communications seems to be more logistics and administration than medical so I am thinking either OEM directly or the vaccination site administrators using OEM radios.

I connected an external antenna to my 200 and did hear airport traffic on the east site, but at one point I did receive Rescue-1 on the west site, but that was all that has been on the west. I'm not able to use the east site normally so I guess unless an alert comes up and county units come up on the west site I'm SOL. Strange because until recently I got all the airport traffic on the west site, I believe they recently switched radios from Motorola to Harris as RID's changed and the dispatcher was asking units if they were on Harris radios.

Another thing that complicates monitoring the Airport for scanners is that, for any actual alert, Aircom patches 1006 to 1001, 1002 and possibly other TGs that generates a 50xxx Patch TG that shows up on scanners.

I wonder if the change in radios means the link to the legacy Airport VHF frequencies will go away once RFD has joined all the other response agencies on the Harris system.

Interesting... I believe all County owned/issued portables & mobiles have been Harris up to this point. All the new LE radios are Harris. I wonder if they are switching to Motorola because they underbid Harris.

I must have gotten them reversed in my memory, the conversation I heard was a few weeks ago, any idea why the airport is no longer on the west site? They had been on the west site until the point the radios changed.

The mobiles changed a while ago. The tower that is on property is on the east cell. Maybe that’s why?

I have 2 more mystery TGs, both TDMA:
TG 1273 units "IT-1" and "IT-3" testing - RIDs appear to be RGRTA Units
TG 1981 - I am getting a lot of hits keying up but no audio. Other 19xx TGs are listed as Interop Patch

Also - FDMA TG 1191 and 1194 - I see units affiliating the last few days and occasionally key up but don't say anything.

TG 1191 shows as Encrypted on my 100 and was showing an ID of 1011233, not sure who this is, but others in the 101 series are county units.

I have been informed that TG1061 is actually a Health Department TG so the vaccination clinic use is not an OEM emergency setup.

I am checking on some details but it appears that my previous assumption that 106x TGs are the new home for all former 153.920 Local Government users was not correct. It is apparently only Health related agencies. I will be submitting RRDB updates and corrections when I get it sorted out.

Apparently due to recent upgrades on Monroe West I am now able to monitor that cell consistently so I am working on ID of west side agency TGs that I could not hear before.

It was much easier when you could run to Radio Shack and pick up the latest edition of Police Call to get all the latest frequencies.

There were supposed to be added towers to the West system last year. I believe for Gates and possibly other areas. I have not tried West for some time and was surprised at the good reception now.
