Here is what I have so far logged for 2 weeks on the new DPS Repeaters. .
All repeaters are tied in for each separate base when they transmit. If a tone was found it is posted here.

Tuscaloosa State
155.505 -- car and base.

Montgomery State "Headquaters"
154.920 -- 146.2 tone car and base
155.505 - base only
154.8075 - dcs 115 car and base

Evergreen State
154.920 - 107.2 tone car and base
155.505 - base only
158.790 - base only

Dothan State
155.445 - 107.2 tone Car and base
155.505 - base only
154.920 - base only

Mobile State (Not Repeating Yet for Mobile and Baldwin County units)
154.920 - 107.2 tone Base Only
155.505 -- base only
158.790 - base only

I did pick up a tone on 155.505 of 162.2 not sure what base used it.

Add one more. Mobile State is now repeating (car and base) on 155.445 with a 114.8 tone and the base only can be heard on 154.920. That completes everything South of Montgomery. What about up North ??? Your next. Someone up North will have to start posting. The only trooper post south of Montgomery that I don't hear on the air are Grove Hill, and Troy. They must not have a base station. Also I think Eufala State has been closed down.

I've picked up 155.505 with a PL of 141.3. Transmissions sound like the Selma Post dispatcher.

I also heard weak transmissions yesterday for 158.790 with a PL of 162.2.

154.8075 in Montgomery seems to be the Capitol Police repeater. I hear CP units on their constantly. IIRC, Montgomery DPS Post dispatches for the Capitol PD.

154.920 -- 146.2 tone car and base

Shouldn't that PL be 162.2? I've been hearing them on that PL since they got their repeater set up.

Nothing to report up here. Other than Tuscaloosa Posts transmitter, everything else is still simplex. I did notice that KIB511 was modified to add 154.8075 as an FB2 frequency. Formerly this was only used by the Capitol Police.

Can anyone down south attempt to find the input frequencies for the new repeaters? It is highly unlikely that 154.920 and 155.445 are still paired, given their new usage. It's quite possible the new inputs include some of the 7.5 kHz splinter channels licensed under KA2108, which were previously unused (apart from 154.8075).

I thought my list was complete. I picked up a another post tonight. Opelika 155.445 with a 173.8 tone. Car and base were on 155.445. The base only was on 155.505. For some reason if you listen to 155.505 you will hear all of the post on it. You may not hear the car, but you will hear the post.

I spent the past two weeks in Florence and Quad Cities is still 155.505 CS. The mobiles remain on 159.210 but I noticed they have a 107.2 tone now, which I don't believe they were using in the Spring when I was there.

Just a few updates:

155.505, PL 141.3 is definately Selma State.

154.920, PL 192.8 - Dispatching a trooper to a wreck near Goshen. Could either be Evergreen or Dothan State. I'm not sure, but the PCO sounded like the Dothan PCO.

154.920, PL 173.8 - I heard a Marine Police unit going 10-41 on Lake Eufaula last week.

I've also been picking up 155.505 with a DPL of (I think) 025. I'm not sure who that is.

Update - I heard the PCO identify as Dothan State this morning, so 155.505, DPL 025 is one of their repeaters.

I was checking a new/old scanner today and heard the troopers on 155.425. There was a little noise and I was using the standard rubber duck so I suspect it was Opelika or someone very close by. It's a quiet frequency, only heard traffic on it 45 minutes ago and it's been silent since but definitely a state trooper frequency.

Looks like I've forgotten how to read. It should be 155.445 and more recent transmissions indicate Alex City as the location. That's about 45 miles from me, caught it on a standard rubber duck antenna. Thanks Codeplug.

ALEA Division E:

(DPS Legacy) Hamilton: TX 158.790, RX 154.920, PL 114.8

I can confirm that this repeater has been active for at least the last two days. Any idea when the Quad Cities tower will be converted, and which frequencies they are planning on using?

Their frequency re-use is interesting to say the least, and I'm not sure how well it's going to work for them. I have already heard a trooper using the Hamilton repeater be covered by Decatur State, to the point of being almost unreadable, twice. The trooper was on a ridge just over 10 miles from the repeater site, and was using a 110 watt MA-COM mobile (assuming they aren't programmed for a lower power). Hopefully they will use a different output frequency for the Decatur transmitter once it is converted, otherwise it will render the majority of the Hamilton repeater's talk-in coverage useless when it is keyed up.
