AHP Troop-F: Update

As of Jan. 05/2015 these repeaters are now "On the Air".
The repeaters were turned on today. Appears that the Base-to-Car freq.'s at these sites were also shut down today.
Decatur State is now Dispatching for Cherokee, DeKalb & Etowah County units.

Will have to check the Etowah County Alpha Tag, I missed what they said it was called.
I believe it should be 31 Dispatch but I could be mistaken, It may be 50 Dispatch since the repeater is located in Boaz.
This is what radio maintenance called the repeaters above.
Other repeaters may be coming online this week.
If you have PL's enabled on these please disable them and see what you can hear.

I'm trying to pickup the Huntsville dispatch (154.92) from up in Tennessee -- should I program in the tone (107.2) as well? Please advise and thanks.

I live in Lincoln Co., TN, I 'm picking up Huntsville on 154.920, and tone 107.2 . Now hearing the cars through the repeater.

Sounds like it Jon. Sometimes I hear Huntsville dispatch only on 154.920 and the cars on 158.790. Its strange. I'm not sure how they got it worked out. I'm sure they are working some magic when it comes time for Decatur to assume night time dispatch.

I saw one (Trooper) last week in a badge holder. They look about the right size for a uniform.

Mississippi HP badges in the shape of the state are too small in my opinion. A prototype of a proposed change in Alabama from about twenty years ago was too large.

The ALEA badge looks about right.
