No attitude. Simply doing my job as a Moderator asking for more. A member (vcattano) posted this..."There should be more shifting the beginning of April. Morris Twp is going live (planned) 1000 on April 4. PD is going to be on MUN PD5 - joining them is possibly the Chathams and Harding. FD will be using MUN FD4 to sign on. Once they go on scene they will use their current FG Channel."

RocketNJ posted this..."Ummm no. Morris Twp will NOT be on PD4."

RocketNJ followed it up with..."I have my reasons. Just to prove my credentials, Morristown PD will be on PD5 by themselves starting Tuesday. Fire will be on FD 4 with other towns in that region. The FDs will be rearranged Tuesday to better regionalize the talkgroups. Enough said? "

Much better...I just wish all that was posted prior to my comment. If you are going to discount what others post, back it up. Again, no attitude. I know RocketNJ's posts to be accurate and reliable. I also know vcattano's posts to be the same, We had two conflicting reports. A simple "Ummm no" doesn't cut it for me.

Ok, I'm off my soapbox.

I have to apologize. I did not read the original post correctly. Another reason to proofread before posting :)

Morris Twp WILL be on PD 4 with Morris Plains, Harding, and the Chathams. Morristown will be on PD5 by themselves. I was thinking Morristown. Too many Morris's!

Tomorrow I'll post the new FD plan which should go in effect Tuesday. There will be 4 FD response talkgroups and 3 EMS talkgroups

I hope they start splitting EMS...getting busy on one channel.

I wonder why they don't group Morris Twp with Morristown and Morris Plains. They surround them.

What is 1000 supposed to mean?

RocketNJ's post on 3/29 was accurate with what he posted on 3/30. Mo'town on PD5 alone, and Morris Twp. on PD4. Vcattano got it wrong.

Here is VC's 3/23 post. "Morris Twp is going live (planned) 1000 on April 4. PD is going to be on MUN PD5 - joining them is possibly the Chathams and Harding"

If the system admin follows the current spacing scheme, that should be what it ends up being...

I don't know if anyone noticed, but the Fire TG's are pretty much in line with the Police TG's now (with the exception of Morristown PD going to PD5).

34512 is FIRE 4...confirmed.

Until you get to FD Resp 6.... then that runs into the EMS TG's, right?

Correct. They could add one more Fire TG's if they follow the current spacing. FIRE 5 would be 34544. Then you hit EMS-1 (34576) so they would have to use something else for a TG 6 if they expand past that.

Just heard Morristown testing on Fire 4

Morristown FD, Morristown EMS, Morris Twp FD, Morris Minute Men EMS (Morris Twp part) did go live just after 10:00 this AM, MFD and MAS have already run calls. Also heard MAS was to be using EMS 3??? Do we have a confirmation on the 34640 ID? Would that mean that there is a EMS 2? And if so - would it be 34608? Does anyone have the talkgroup lineup for EMS Groups?

Any word on Morristown PD, Morris Twp PD - have not heard anything on their TG as of yet.
