I was just monitoring them last week and was hearing them just fine. I'll keep my scanner on record and report back

I've been hearing Roads Central Dispatch. I have about 5 hits in the last couple hours. Nothing on fire talk groups as of yet

With me only receiving Brisbane Site 10 reliably, I should be able to receive Rockwood or Erin Fire departments. Since yesterday, I have only had Central Roads, Guelph/Eramosa Works and Erin Roads. I'm also checking Prairie/FleetConnect to see if they are back there. Mostly getting IMOS on that system.

Are the FD's using Guelph's DMR CAP system now?

It's possible. Does the Guelph site have coverage into Wellington County? I also thought they might be on the TurboConnect system further south

The Wellington County fire departments are still very much active on the system. Most of the traffic is at specific sites for some reason. I have seen this where sometimes it will have FD traffic on the Wilmot site but other times (most of the time) not.
I've seen WNFS and PFR and CWFR recently according to my recordings on Trunking Recorder.
I set my site as Puslinch and most if not all the traffic is heard on that site.

It might be a scenario where the site allows that TG to be heard if an Erin radio is registered with that site or a nearby site. Just a thought...

As we all know on trunked systems if a mobile is not affiliated with the site, the TG is not active on it. I have seen many trunked sites where the RX "acceptable signal parameters" are deliberately tightened so that only units that are strong and solid can affiliate.

This creates the situation where units will tend to affiliate easily with the local site but have difficulty affiliating with a distant site, effectively locking out non local radios and TG and thus freeing up channel slots for local users on the site. Propagation and other factors are at play so there is no specific setting and each site would need tweaking to achieve the system goals.
