Hey all,
After going through the recent submissions I would like to ask what you guys think I should do regaurding Mutual aid talkgroups on the State System.

Would you guys rather me put the County mutual aid talkgroups in their respective counties or in the Mutual Aid catagory

Example:
Submitted was talkgroup 2299 "Denver Mutual Aid"
would you guys rather see that under Mutual Aid, or Denver County

and

8077 "Montrose County Mutual Aid"

Whatever you guys decided, that's the format that will be followed throughout from now on.

Thanks,
Kevin

My vote goes for them to appear in the individual counties since they are the ones using them.

Just to clarify for this old man, 2299 is a DTRS talkgroup that patches to WHAT DENVER TG?

Jerry

I'm just talking about in the database, how they are listed. If they should be listed and appear under their county or if they should appear under the mutual aid list.

Note my PS. The other was just a question.

While I voted for putting them with their respective Counties I do think that eventually having sort of a `master list' of just MA TGs wouldn't be all that bad an idea as I can `see' some possibilities where being able to quickly put together or have a `sub-bank' strictly for MA might come in handy. (I'm thinking in terms of a multiple radio setup where running a radio that is just dealing with MA TGs could be considered to be `The Canary' alerting one to those type situations. Admittedly a very small `subset' of listeners and setups but something that could eventually setup as systems grow and age. Think of it as an `extension' of the national, regional, state MA, I-CALL, I-TAC, ETC. listings maybe?)
