Will the PSR 500 Scan & Search the new NARROWBAND Maritime Frequencies?
I have noticed that there are some new frequencies.
The new ones are located in-between the old ones.
Any ideas?

The PSR-500 has continuous coverage, so it will receive any frequency within its range.

Are you asking about the new 3 digit VHF Marine channels?

Altho approved thru WARC, I don't think the FCC approved them and I know
Motorola balked at producing a Radio with them, if approved.

No, NOT 3 digits. The old ones were 3 digits to the RIGHT of the DECIMAL.
The NEW ones have 4 digits to the RIGHT of the DECIMAL.

I've never heard anything , and the last I knew they were never approved/adopted by the FCC.
I tried searching the FCC and GAO web sites w/o Luck.

I'll put my money on , never approved, as I have not seen a Marine Radio out there with those numbers.

Yes. That is what my question is all about. Sorry but I guess Ishould of posted the link to that page like you did. Okay, my question is about thos frequencies/channels on that page that you provided that link to.

It will NOT Search or Scan these frequencies? Even if NOT approved if the spacing was right, shouldn't it be able too?
