There are two systems in the database that appear to be the same

Nebraska TRBO

Nebraska DMR-MARC Repeater System

Just wondering if they are the same which one is up to date. If an admin could remove the one that is not up to date or merge the two systems? The Nebraska TRBO system does not have the Columbus repeater but it has the Zone information unlike the DMR-MARC system. Does this system still use the 2 separate zones for TG 2 Local? If so that is good information to know.

The Nebraska DMR-MARC is the most up to date. There are 2 time slots used by each repeater and are not separated into 2 zones as listed in the Nebraska TRBO database. I can go anywhere across the Nebraska DMR repeater system and not needing to change the zones in my HT. Just select the best repeater based on location on the radio. TG 2 is still local and limited to the repeater location selected.

I do agree, though the information needs merged and the zones section removed.

On another note, the DMR system is expanding with new repeaters slated to go online soon, namely Humboldt and a offline repeater in NW Omaha. The Columbus repeater antenna will be moved up to the top of the old ATT tower south of Columbus, providing wide area coverage across Hwy 30 towards Fremont. We also plan to push west across the I-80 Corridor in the future.

Howdy everyone! The NebraskaTRBO system has been updated and has replaced the other one which was a duplicate. The information shown here is correct - TWO (later to be THREE) Zones of repeaters, all interconnected and offering the same timeslot / talkgroup "menu"!

Great to see the expanding network! It was nice to hear a good amount of activity when I was in town last week.

Thought I had replied to this thread earlier.

Thank you everyone for the information. Trying to update my scanners and my DMR radios. Hopefully be using the system shortly once I get my mobile radio installed in my truck.

Great job to everyone involved in maintaining and expanding the system.
