NEED HELP! with BC700A Scanner!

The book I have is for the BC350A and apparently its the same. But.....I can't
figure out the instructions! Can someone just give me the step by step just to get
me started programming in a police freq??? Thanx!!

Also you can program over top of any Freq. already installed. If you want to erace a Freq. hit 0 and then ENTER It should show 000000 after that.

1. Press SEARCH
2. Press BAND to select the band which covers the frequency
3. Press HOLD when the search is near the frequency you want to program
4. Use Up or Down arrows to display the frequency you want to program
5. Press PROG

6. Press PRIVATE, FIRE/EMS OR POLICE

7. Use UP or Down arrows to select a channel number

8. Press PROG
