4 hits on this today. Same site. Just keep missing the RID.

I see uid as 2430003 if that helps .

Some mention of ALS but not coming in clear on West Orange site.

WPU made the move to full time use of the system at 0700 this morning. And yes our radio range is 243xxxx, and the talkgroups are all listed in the database. And the police are full time officers not volunteer.

How is the coverage for WPU?
What sites are they using?

From the testing we did before making the move, coverage is good all over campus except in the basements of some buildings.

Primary tower for us will be West Orange with Alpine, Ramapo, East Rutherford, and Bowling Green as our fill in sites we are allowed to be on.

The main dispatch is TG4747 not TG4741.

Correct. HOWEVER, 4741 is a new talkgroup that was discovered in the past week or so, with WPU RID's affiliating to it. So, therefore, again...Can definitely add TG4741 as William Paterson University. Non-emergency operations of some sort it sounds like. Can one of the database admins at least take note of this until it's WPU use is identified.

4741 is not assigned to WPU. Our radio id range is from 2430001 to 2430070. So the radios that you are seeing on 4741 is not assigned to WPU. Please remove the talkgroup from being assigned to WPU.

OK, I'll take care of this, once finally identified this talk group will be re-instated. Also when indeed found out please make a submission to the RR DB. May not always catch new info if only posted in this forum. Keep monitoring and thank you.

Exactly. TG4741 RID's have included 2430003 as N2PQQ also noted, and 2430008 earlier today. Obviously there's incomplete data in the mix here, which is why I hadn't submitted it. Plus it wouldn't be the first time REMU created a TG on the system that was just simulcasting another TG on the system for some type of testing. Happened a couple times in the early stages of the NJICS.

Not going to get in a back and forth pissing match over this TGID 4741 being assigned to us. I know 100% that that TGID is not in any of our radio's since I am the one that maintains the radios for the campus. Could you be seeing 4751 as the TGID on what ever you are running. If you are seeing 4741 with our RID's then there has to be a problem with the state's network because no where in the code plug has that 4741 programmed into it.
