Sounds like you are in a great spot to get such wide coverage. What antenna are you using and how high a mast?

Several Yagis pretty much. 15 foot mast to get above the house. And a pretty good spot, yes.

Is it just me? I am hearing QV fire dispatch on Troop D simulcast CLMRN. Talk group "8751 8572 8753" and I can hear both sides of the transmission. While on the subject of Mass ST police I use to hear them on Central MA and no longer hear them.

I have both the Uniden sds200 and sds100 and in my opinion they are the very best scanners in existence In the past I owned the BCD 436 HP and to be brutally honest it sucked in decoding the digital RISCON SYSTEM YES the sds200 and sds100 are expensive but why buy a cheap scanner and suffer distortion Take my advice and get either the sds200 base/mobile or the sds100 hand held portable you will love them because they blow the BCD 436 HP out of the world
