Hello Everyone,
I bought a Uniden SDS200 Scanner for home use so I can listen to my local police radio. I want to listen to the "Lower Merion Township" police radio. This is in the state of Pennsylvania, USA (near Philadelphia). When I use my Uniden scanner, I see the following (see attached screen shot). Does that mean I am listening to my local police radio? I have not heard anything for over 24 hours so I am concerned I could be missing something? The TGID is 16515073. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Oh, In addition there shouldn't/wouldn't be a NAC programed on a DMR Trunked system. So regardless of Encryption there is something wrong with the programing shown in the picture posted. But even if it were correct, you couldn't listen.

Welcome to the RR forums @mxd334 : LMPD along with the rest of Montgomery County's Law Enforcement has been fully encrypted for about 3 years now. I'd like to thank the OP for the reminder to make the DB submission to set the PD DMR talkgroups as deprecated. Only public works and parks & rec still operate on the DMR system and they too are fully encrypred. LMPD hasn't been on the DMR-III TRS for about a decade now, they were a carryover back in the day when the aforementioned DMR system was EDACS & before they joined the county Smartnet system which was taken offline officially last year.

LMPD currently operate on MontcoP25 & in case you missed it the other umpteen times, they're fully encrypted...

If it's any consolation to the OP, Lower Merion Fire can still be heard in the clear on MontcoP25. Fire region talkgroups are shared with other departments in the area so you'll need to familiarize yourself with the station IDs if not familiar already. Fire marshals in Montco use the same ID numbers as their respective police dept (LMFD Marshal being FM-34. Chief of Department ID is "Lower Merion 5")

The only place a programming error could be would be in the full database since that's what the OP is using in his screenshot.

I imported that system from the db and set 19066 zip code in since I am on Long Island. I get the same thing as the OP. Its showing a NAC on a DMR system.

Being bored today, I swapped the DMR freqs out with the cc of my counties P25 trs to see if it would pick up a cc, ran or nac other than what was programmed. It did not pick up my counties nac of 3C4 but it did pick up and display my counties correct WACN, Site ID and Net ID even tho the system is set up as DMR.
