I am running a Raspberry Pi with two instances running. I also have two different email address, one is GMAIL and the other is from my EMS squads domain.

I also have a Pi running at my firehouse, but it is using a regular domain name from my department website and so far this is not being blocked by the cloud address thing from Verizon (not yet!!).

I am sending them to BCC, so not sure why they would be seeing the send, unless their server is recognizes it.

At this point, it appears they do not like GMAIL and it makes me remember a time when you could not register for websites and such with "free" email address, could this be part of what they are trying to do?

I'm afraid that I'm also running into messaging issues with VZW. I had one that didn't work yesterday and one that worked fine this morning.

I'm not sending a lot of messages, I'd guess the most in one day would be 10 and that would be a high guess.

I'll have to give Verizon a call too.

Also, where are you guys getting bounce backs to? I never get any bounce back emails of any sort.

I've not had a bounce since Sunday. can anyone else confirm they're fixed?
I had one bounce this morning. It was the one with a larger recipient list. Since then I've had two other dispatches to smaller group of recipients go through without issue.

My larger group did have a dispatch go through Sunday night without a bounce. I still think there is a large possibility that we will lose Verizon customers as they move to their EMS service to make more money and curb spam texting. Verizon will not help us.

Just got off the phone with Verizon, they were following up on the trouble ticket I reported. He confirmed they made changes that were blocking things that should not have been blocked. That's been corrected, and he doesn't expect further issues. He did not have access to what limits were now in place, but even on my multiple TTD's, with multiple recipients, no issues since Sun eve.
He did close the ticket.

That's good to hear. I had one go through to a small number of Verizon users yesterday with a 20ish minute delay. Another one went through to a group of 12 yesterday without bouncing, but I'm not sure if there was a delay. Neither were from gmail accounts though.

Keep the info coming!

Thanks,

Andy

Has anybody gone SDR based yet? I've managed to get two machines running with 6 VCO's / 6 virtual audio cables, each with relative ease.

I haven't but would love to. Are you doing this in Windows, Linux? Pi maybe? What resources did you use to get this going?

One machine is a NUC6i7KYK using an Airspy and the other a whitebox / AMD 6350 and an RTL dongle. Software of choice is Unitrunker with the VCO's in "undefined" mode and Virtual audio cable.

Verizon back up and running

I just had 2 pages work today with more than 10 individuals on Verizon. The late page saw some very long delays for one member but the other got his pretty quick. I was sitting right by them. Both MP3 and AMR have more than 10 Verizon recipients.

Cautiously optimistic that I wont need my expensive workaround.

Was the speech to text feature ever added into the program? After tweaking around windows recording options I was able to get the dictation software to work pretty accurately. I would still love to see this feature added into the program.

Tell us more. Have you set it up to automatically make it to txt then send it via email?
